Screen-Free Traveling
I could not be more excited that summer is here! I love school, but I also love a break from school. . .and so do my kids. Summer also means traveling—whether that’s little day trips to new adventures or a big road trip with the whole family. All that time in the car can be challenging for kids (and adults) especially if you are like our family and don’t do screens. So, I wanted to put together a list of some things we have used to make those road trips a little less daunting. . .and even enjoyable.
Snacks are always a a must when traveling! If your kids don’t get car sick then I also suggest going to the library and picking some new books to enjoy on your ride. Coloring books (especially these) are always fun.
