Benefits of Early Math Exposure
Early math expands communication skills by exposing a child to math vocabulary that they can use to explain their thoughts better. (“I want the big, red cup” opposed to “I want the cup.”). It develops critical thinking skills. Helps a child to develop the capability to organize thoughts in their brain, which can lead to better reading comprehension skills.
Give Your Child an Advantage
A study found that students that continue to learn during summer months have an advantage over students that do not practice what they learned. Students that do nothing during summer months often forget the skills they learned the previous school year and have to spend time catching up when school starts again. Spending a few minutes a day practicing math skills will prevent your child from falling behind.
Learn What Matters
State Standards were researched and analyzed to understand what concepts a child should be able to master at the end of each grade level. Based on that research, I created unique, grade-level appropriate activity pages to teach the concepts in a fun way so that children would ask to use their workbook.
